The 115th MASU Day Celebration of the Madras Agricultural Students' Union (MASU) was held with grandeur on 14 July 2026 at the Anna Auditorium, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore.

The celebration was presided over by Dr. K. Subrahmaniyan, Acting Vice-Chancellor, TNAU and Chief Patron, MASU. Dr. N. Senthil, President, MASU, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the Union's rich legacy of serving the agricultural fraternity for over a century.

On the occasion, the MASU Awards 2026 were presented to eminent scientists, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and agricultural professionals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to agricultural research, extension, agribusiness, innovation, and national development. Members of the MASU Award Scrutinizing Committee were also felicitated for ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the MASU Day 2026 competitions conducted across the constituent colleges and campuses of TNAU, where more than 150 students excelled in various academic, literary, cultural, and technical events.

The function was graced by Dr. C. Babu, Dean (Agriculture) & Dean (SPGS), TNAU, Dr. R. Selvarajan, Director, ICAR–National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB), Tiruchirappalli, and Shri T. Rabi Kumar, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Director, Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore, who appreciated MASU's remarkable contribution to agricultural education, research, innovation, and alumni engagement. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Karthikeyan, Vice President, MASU.
